Are you having trouble with Kiva right now?

Kiva is a non-profit organization that has been empowering individuals around the world to overcome poverty through microfinance since 2005. Through their online platform, Kiva connects individuals and groups in need of affordable loans with lenders who can provide small amounts of funding to help them achieve their goals. The concept of microfinance revolves around the idea of giving people a hand-up rather than a hand-out. Kiva works with a network of field partners who identify and screen individuals or groups who have a business or financial need. Lenders can then browse through these borrower profiles on Kiva's website and choose who they want to lend to based on their personal criteria. One of the most unique aspects of Kiva is that lenders can lend as little as $25, allowing them to spread their impact across multiple borrowers. Once the loan is repaid, lenders can either withdraw their money or choose to lend it out again to help another person in need.Kiva also gives borrowers access to tools and resources to help them succeed, such as financial planning and business training. This not only helps them achieve their personal goals, but also contributes to the development and growth of their communities.Through Kiva, lenders have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in someone's life and support economic progress in communities around the world. Join the millions of individuals who have already helped transform the lives of others through microfinance by becoming a lender on Kiva today.
