If a physical game has the dlc inside it that needs to be downloaded will I be able to download it once the store closes?

Sorry if the title is a bit confusing, but basically I’m having a problem. I’m thinking about getting the physical version of the walking dead games on 360 and I know these games act like season p...

  • Anything you already own will be re-downloadable. But if you buy a physical copy of a game that includes a redeemable code: > If you intend to redeem codes for Xbox 360 or Original Xbox content via your Xbox 360 console, you’ll need to redeem them before July 29, 2024. After that date, they may no longer be redeemable. https://support.xbox.com/en-us/help/xbox-360/store/xbox-360-marketplace-update
  • The Walking dead games/tell tale borderlands/wolf among us/telltale back to the future have the dlc on disc. Those ones will be fine. Telltale game of thrones and telltale batman are season pass discs and would require you to pop them in and grab the dlc prior to the shutdown. The telltale minecrafts were already delisted, and they were season passes on disc, so those have been broken for a long time and no longer grant the game even with the disc.

Antstream Arcade - A Review/Retrospective After A Year

Antstream Arcade - A Year Later So, I wrote a big review on the Series X sub last year when Antstream Arcade was released on Xbox, I had had it for a few weeks and gave my first impressions. This is ...

  • This seems right up my alley, but since it's all streaming, I really don't like that they're is no free trial to see how well it plays on my particular network. I just can't justify jumping right to a full year subscription on "trust me bro."
  • When I hear Arcade, I think of CPS 1-3, Namco system 11 & 22, Sega System 32, Naomi, Naomi 2, Triforce, Sega Model 1 - 3, Atari Flagstaff, Midway V Unit, etc. Can I expect this kind of Arcade from Antstream?
  • I maybe would have stayed if they had a save point / rewind feature that are necessary for me to be able to play classic arcade games. In the current state it's really underwhelming and content over substance.
  • I liked the service enough for a year but I don't think I care enough to pay for another year or to even get the 1000/1000 in the game. Just too many games I don't have the patience to get gold medals on.
  • I like it and still play it regularly. It’s nice to have as a retro gaming option.

Game Streaming is LACKING. Should be 4K/60FPS whenever possible. (Beta excuse does not fly)

Do not get me wrong. I absolutely LOVE that the service is delivering this kind of option, and I use it when the situation calls for it.... but let's be REAL. it's garbage quality (1080p or less?). ...

  • Xbox is probably never going to do this. It also benefits by not consuming as much data as 4K would, making streaming even on mobile networks viable. Xbox streaming also offers greater flexibility by being a web app which PlayStation does not and GeForce now is utterly ridiculous with its pricing, but I guess Nvidia has no incentive with its focus being gen ai
  • If you want supreme quality, get GeForce Now. In order to get 4k60 they'd have to add Xbox blades because capacity would tank, likely not worth it for a service that's expensive to run. Would not be surprised to see quality remain the same until some time next gen.
  • Eventually they will introduce a quality mode that's not part of Ultimate for $10. The hardware for cloud gaming is capable of running one series x game or four series s games. Currently it's exclusively running the latter.
  • Stadia had 4K years ago. GFN had 4K years ago. PSnow got it this year I think. Xcloud doesn't seem to get actual functionally updates. Imo it looks like Xbox is more interested in just being a provider for GFN
